HISTORY

It wasn't like his family wasn't already large enough when he came along. It was actually quite bigger than his family wanted, but they still managed. His father had always hoped to break into the higher ranks of knighthood, something his father had never been able to do, and his father before him. It was like a curse that the men in the family couldn't get enough favour with any of the lords of House Eina to be considered of any importance to the house other than guards, and second line soldiers.

He grew up with many older siblings, and all of them were forced to work for a living due to the low amount of pay at each and every job they actually could hold down. The family wasn't known for competance, and it was a wonder most of his siblings knew how to tie their boots in the morning. While he had greater intelligence than his siblings, he was still really only average when it came to smarts.

He was an unofficial squire to his second oldest brother for several years, doing all the work his brother was too lazy or busy to do. By the time his own training started, he knew what he was in for. Or he thought he did. He met the heir to Eina, Lord Gebann, and became friendly with him. Possibly too friendly.

This was the first time anyone in his family had actually been friends with the nobility, so naturally his family made a big deal about it. Some of his siblings happy, some of them jealous, some of them feeling that it wouldn't last. His parents were happy, and he felt he had quite a future if he could stay friends with him.

Over the years it stopped being about the status it would bring him. Over the years they became much closer, and it stopped being about being the only one in the family who could ever rise above the low ranks. This proved itself no truer than when Gebann's father tried to put an end to their relationship, and Dagda was stripped of everything he'd worked for. Except he didn't really care anymore, as Gebann came to him, and suddenly they were on the run.

They left behind everything, fled from the reach of Eina, and began living off of the land (and the people who lived in it, and travelled through it). This has continued for three years, their situation not truely changing very much for some time.

PERSONALITY

Dagda, while having had the ear of the heir of Eina, would never have fit in with the highbrow knights. He is naturally not a very appearance-minded individual. Infact, he doesn't quite care what he looks like at all, meaning he relies on others to tell him just how bad he does look on any given day. Gebann has been helping him in this regard for some time, but he remains a "fashion disaster".

While not the brightest star out there, he likes to think of himself as reasonably competant. Although convincing Gebann to leave his house and go out into the unknown might have been stupid on a logical level, he thought it was for the best emotionally. He has a great tendancy to think with his emotions rather than his head.

As much as he's the "leader" of the two, a good portion of what he does is to keep Gebann happy. He plays along with whatever Gebann is doing for the simple reason that it's far too difficult to do things on his own, and he really doesn't want to be left alone in the middle of a desert of snow. There are a few things he won't do for him (he refuses to take care of his appearance for instance), but for the most part he imitates what Gebann is doing to prevent fights.

APPEARANCE

He stands higher than the average Korin man, and is fairly well built. He keeps his hair long, and wears a headband to keep most of it out of his eyes. His usual stance generally gives away the fact that he's had combat training, as most bandits tend to slouch, while he stands tall and proud.

He doesn't keep very good care of his armor, much to the disgust of Gebann. His black armor does a good job of hiding the dirt, but is chipped and rusted in spots, and could use quite a bit of repair. He wears a lot of fur to keep the bitter cold he lives in daily away.

He is PB'd by Kulzard from Fire Emblem: Hasha no Ken.
