I know Gebann voiced some concerns about the people you planned to send up, but I've taken care of it. They're not going to get into any trouble coming up here, and I'm taking care of the whole matter personally. Gebann's still got some issues with the whole idea, but I've managed to convince him that the spirit of our new Eina takes precedence. Everybody's welcome.
I wanted to give you an advance update on how we're going to be handling the issue of our marriage since it brought up a whole bunch of issues. The basics of it is that we're calling it a communion up here, and it's going to be recognized under Eina law as a legal bond between two men or two women when it comes to bringing two people and their families together. It's important to our current situation that it's legal, and it's not important to either of us what it's called as long as everyone understands that this is marriage without the name. It's also important to me, personally, that anyone else who wants to have the same thing can get it.
Anyway, I'm glad you chose to talk to us when you did.
