This is kind of hard to talk about, but ... yeah.
I know Tabby's really excited about this, and I don't think she gets that being the front line means her girls are going to take the brunt of whatever defense Keran can put up. When she's leading the attack on the wall, she's going to be watching all her closest friends be in mortal danger and worse. There's a reason Keran's always won, and it's his mages. They're going to throw everything they've got at her, and she's going to lose a lot of good women even in the best case.
I don't want her scared, but it doesn't look like she understands that this is real war now. She's not going to be safe just taking to the sky. She's not going to be safe period. She's still got that look like she thinks it's all glory and no shit.
