That wasn't the way you were supposed to find out about that. I've been trying to figure out a good way to bring it up for a week now, and then she gives it to you in the worst way possible.
I'm sorry.
That night when she called me over for a surprise she gave me a real surprise. There was no way I could say no without blowing my cover. There was no way for me to get out of it without giving up everything we've been working for. I stepped up, and I did what had to be done.
