I remember when we were out in the woods, running away from this city. As much as i like to ignore that they happened... there were bad days. There were ugly days. Not between us, but because our own bodies betrayed us. Two boys who didn't know enough about running ourselves too hard in the cold. He got sick, I got sick. We nursed each other in the caves and crevices. We came out the other side in one peace, and close to each other than ever. We knew we could count on each other forever. We were going to fight every battle together instead of alone.

I hope you don't think I'm being too forward by filtering to you, but I've been having such trouble not trying to do it lately. Our match was so fulfilling that I still think about it constantly. It was an honor, and you are an amazing fighter.
